Little Layla

11.3% ABV

Brewed and released in honor of Layla Blakeley, a young girl who lost her fight with a rare form of childhood cancer called Neuroblastoma in 2010, and all of the children whom have fought alongside their friends and family to battle childhood cancers. This beer was the brainchild of our very own Sales Director, David Pixler, who is best friends with Layla's father. On June 17th, 2016, Little Layla will be released to the world. Little Layla started as a Belgian Golden Ale at 11.3% and was then aged for a short time in Bourbon barrels. As tangerines were one of Layla’s favorite fruits, we added tangerine zest to this amazing beer. Little Layla has Belgian yeast character & hop notes of spicy, floral, and earthy flavors and aromas rounded out with tangerine zest and a nip of smooth bourbon. This beer is bold, strong and courageous with a heart of gold. Truly encompassing everything Layla was.

This beer release will help to raise money to support the St. Baldrick's Foundation. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation exists to change the reality of childhood cancer.
